Variations and Repetitions

During my gap year, I moved to Beijing for an internship. As a newcomer to the city with no friends or family, I worked for a well-known fashion magazine for five months. Despite being in the creative industry, I realized that most junior employees simply repeated templates of their previous work each day, with little room for creativity or growth. The magazine was essentially an advertising firm that sold covers to high-end brands to promote their latest collections and products. Despite my solitude after work, I eventually made friends in Beijing and discovered the city's underground club culture, becoming particularly interested in electronic music genres like Trance, Ambiance, and Techno. This experience shaped my aesthetics and personality.
