This video was a group project that I completed during my sophomore year at Parsons School of Design. After four other designers shared their research boards and finished their garments, I decided to create a "kinetic sketchbook" using After Effects.

Behind the Uniqueform
I compiled 28 different process videos to show how I transformed my initial ideas into the final product. The biggest challenge was adjusting the timings, as I often had to rearrange or edit frames in Photoshop, which in turn required changes to other frames.
Design Statement
Despite strict school uniform regulations in Asia, high school students are finding creative ways to make their uniforms stylish. We sought to explore how students at Parsons express themselves and their cultural traditions through their clothing. Inspired by modular design theory and interviews with three students from diverse communities on campus, we created this collection to showcase the diversity of Parsons.
